A remarkable journey, captured by Canadian filmmaker Elisa Paloschi, on Selvi’s escape from her troubled past, to her success in re-transforming her life, becoming Karnataka’s first female taxi driver. Almost a decade ago, Selvi was forced to marry at the age of 14, and found herself in a violent and abusive marriage. In deep despair, she chose to escape, with the intention of throwing herself under the wheels of a bus on the highway. Instead she got on the bus, choosing to live, and went on to become Karnataka’s first female taxi driver.
