Filmmaker Followup – Chris Chong Chan Fui
I had a chance to sit down with Chris to talk about his new film, BlockB, at TIFF and the fame and glory that comes from winning the Best Canadian Short Film Award.
Chris Chong Chan Fui is a Malaysian-Canadian filmmaker. He has written and directed a number of short films and has worked in film, television and animation production. Chris’s career began in Canada where he directed a number of experimental hand-processed films and screened his work in over 20 festivals on the global circuit. Chris’s Tuesday Be My Friend screened at RA in 2006 and Pool(2007) won TIFF’s Best Canadian Short Film Award.
