Reel Asian and Night It Up! is partnering up again to bring you outdoor screenings of 2 fun Taiwanese films: Starry Starry Night on Friday, July 15th and The Rooftop on Saturday, July 16th. Look for the big inflatable screen upon entering the event grounds!
Night It Up! is an outdoor night market styled in the vein of night markets from Taiwan and Hong Kong and many others from across Asia. Over 120 will be present vendors to show you to what an authentic night market in Asia feels like!

STARRY STARRY NIGHT

SYNOPSIS: A heartwarming coming-of-age about 13-year-old Xiao Mei (Josie Xu Jiao of CJ7), who begins an unlikely friendship with a mysterious new boy at school (Eric Lin Hui Ming). Together, they set out for a backpacking journey through the mountains and lean on their fantasy and imagination to overcome their inner pains. The production crew of STARRY STARRY NIGHT scouted numerous locations in Taiwan before finally discovering the beautiful and world-famous Ali Mountain where they spent over 5 million NT dollars to build a wooden cabin for the film which would later be used by the Taiwanese government to attract tourism.
