PITCH JURY
With over twenty years of experience in the film & television industry, Teresa M. Ho is currently in production on Season 2 of Frankie Drake Mysteries for CBC/UKTV, and will screen on CBC the feature documentary My Piece of the City about the youth in Regent Park’s stage presentation of The Journey. Previously, she managed CBC/Netflix’s Series Anne with an E, multiple units on NBC Universal’s reboot TV Series Heroes Reborn, and all of Shaftesbury production teams for over eight years including Murdoch Mysteries, The Moblees, and The Listener.
Aliya Pabani is an artist and podcaster. Most recently, she was host/producer of CANADALAND’s arts and culture podcast The Imposter, a show that covered everything from interviews with groundbreaking artists like Tanya Tagaq, to the story of an early synthesizer pioneer from the Maritimes who scored the Apollo 11 moon landing. The Imposter was featured as one of the best podcasts of 2017 by CBC’s Podcast Playlist, and Ben Cannon of the AV Club called it “one of the finest, most compulsively listenable shows in the world of podcasts today.”

Angela Sun is a first generation mad, fat, feminist actor, arts administrator, theatre creator, and writer of Chinese descent. She has performed at the Gardiner Museum, the Art Gallery of Ontario, and the Toronto Fringe, Hamilton Fringe, and SummerWorks festivals; and for theatre companies including Filament Incubator, Broadleaf Theatre, Hart House Theatre, and Mixed Company Theatre. Her original works have been curated by theart collective xLq and showcased by Little Black Afro/ Taking It Global/ Obsidian Theatre Company. She was a recipient of the fu-GEN Future Generation Scholarship and named one of the inaugural RBC Emerging Scholars at the Toronto Spur Festival.
