The Toronto Inside Out LGBT Film Festival is back for the 26th year from May 26th, 2016 2016 to June 5th, 2016! Reel Asian is very proud to co-present SPA NIGHT with Inside Out at the TIFF Bell Lightbox on Saturday, May 28th.
Other than our co-presentation with Inside Out, their 2016 festival is also packed with Asian content, Asian Diaspora, and Asian representation.
We would like to thank Inside Out for their ongoing efforts in providing a safe space for underrepresented artists and filmmakers.

SYNOPSIS: David Cho, a second-generation Korean-American teenager, is a painfully quiet but devoted son who works in his parent’s restaurant and accompanies them to the Korean spa for steam baths and scrubs. David’s sexuality is burgeoning, but hidden. Spa Night is a breathtakingly honest depiction of the Korean-American experience, with finely drawn characters that are at once relatable and profound.
