Presented by Reel Asian Film Festival, Suite Suite Chinatown is a collaborative film and live music event. This time we’re heading up to Mississauga for Bollywood Monster Mashup, Canada’s only Bollywood festival and largest South Asian Festival. Now in it’s fourth year, the festival has expanded to a full week of events including free music and dance lessons, amazing food, film screenings and more! Bollywood Monster Mashup takes place from Aug 25-30 in Mississauga Celebration Square.

The ultimate intersection between East & West, Chinatown is where immigrant communities made a home, and where their host countries came face to face with the new arrivals.
Suite Suite Chinatown turns to seven artistically diverse, award-winning Chinese-Canadians to answer the question “What is your Chinatown?” Experience Suite Suite Chinatown with a Bollywood twist. The diverse cast of live musicians this time features acclaimed tabla master, Ravi Naimpally; sitar master from Sitar Fusion Anwar Khurshid; MC Shan Vincent DePaul from award winning hip hop group Magnolius; and in demand session artists, John Poon and Tim Shia of Figalo. They will happily be twisting genres and expectations for this unique blend of cultures.
