Reel Asian is proud to co-present YOUNG AND QUEERLY REBELLIOUS: Panel and Screening Girlfriend, Boyfriend. Directed by Yang Ya-che, Girlfriend, Boyfriend is a poignant coming-of-age love story of three rebellious youths set against the political backdrop of Taiwan’s democratic reform in the late 1980s. The event is also held in effort to help fundraise for The Home Promised‘s documentary production through a raffle draw at the reception following the screening.
